Deacon Nominations

The 2025 Committee on Deacon Nominations (CDN) in collaboration with Pastor Gary and Deacon Chair Margo has scheduled the 2025 Deacon nomination period for April 13 – 27. It is particularly appropriate that Easter falls right in the middle, reminding us how important this process is. The nomination form will list those who are ineligible due to set criteria. If you should need a list of eligible members, you may contact the church office. Paper forms may be returned to the church office. The office staff will confirm eligibility and prepare a list of nominees with pertinent information, including any comments from the submitted form. Each church member may nominate as many eligible church members as the Lord leads them to nominate—one person per form. Although not required, it is helpful to give a statement of why you are nominating the person. Per guidelines, the number of nominations for a person will not have any bearing on their consideration. The Committee will be following the Lord’s leading to arrive at a balanced slate that fulfills the stated criteria and biblical guidance.
